The giving of the Purchaser of any delivery instructions for the goods or any part thereof, or the acceptance by the Purchaser of delivery of the goods or any part thereof (or any conduct by the Purchaser in confirmation of the transaction set out on the face hereof after receipt by the Purchaser of this document) shall constitute unqualified acceptance by the Purchaser of these conditions.
Catalogues, prices lists and advertising matter are only indication of the type of goods offered and no prices or other particulars contained therein shall be binding on Phædrus Audio
Payment shall be made in full in pounds sterling in advance of shipment, or within 30 days from the date of invoice as agreed in writing by Phædrus Audio.
Phædrus Audio reserves the right to suspend the provision of goods to the Purchaser where any amounts are overdue under any contract with the Purchaser until all such monies have been paid.
The Purchaser shall not be entitled to make any deduction from the price in respect of any set-off or counter-claim unless both the validity and the amount thereof have been admitted by the Phædrus Audio in writing.
Unless otherwise stated, prices quoted are ex-works from the Phædrus Audio's UK warehouse. If Phædrus Audio has undertaken to provide or arrange carriage to a destination agreed or specified by the Purchaser, such carriage shall be charged in addition to the price unless otherwise expressly agreed by Phædrus Audio in writing.
If payment of the total price is not made by the due date, Phædrus Audio may require products to be returned and, if this requirement is not immediately complied with, Phædrus Audio shall have the right (with or without prior notice) at any time to retake possession of the whole or any part of the products (and for that purpose to go upon any premises occupied by the Purchaser and sever the goods from anything they are attached to without being responsible for any damage caused) without prejudice to any of our other remedies.
Phædrus Audio shall make every endeavour to adhere to agreed delivery schedule. Such schedule is not however guaranteed or to be deemed to be of the essence of the contract and Phædrus Audio is in no case liable for any delay in delivery or any losses resulting directly or indirectly there from howsoever caused, and any delay in delivery shall not be sufficient cause for cancellation by the Purchaser.
The Purchaser shall not be allowed to make any claims against Phædrus Audio for any shortfalls in the quantity of the goods specified in the despatch note or, where Phædrus Audio is responsible for the carriage of the goods, any damage to or non-delivery of all or any part of the goods unless Phædrus Audio is informed in writing of such shortfall damage or non-delivery within such time as will enable them to comply with the carrier conditions of carriage or within 7 days of the date of invoice/despatch note, whichever is the shorter.
In line with European legislation on Distance Selling, any order for standard Phaedrus Audio products may be returned by non-business customers in the European Union to Phaedrus Audio for credit, including delivery charges, within seven (7) days of receiving the goods; unless a longer minimum period is mandated by applicable local laws. These cancellation rights do not apply to bespoke goods or to goods which have been opened or used; for example fitted into a microphone. The Purchaser must pay for the return postage.
Prior to returning the Phaedrus Audio products, the Purchaser must contact email@example.com for shipping instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The Purchaser must ship the Phaedrus Audio products back in their original condition and in the original, unopened packaging. Phaedrus Audio will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to equipment returned without valid paperwork and/or a valid RMA number. Phaedrus Audio will not accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged during the return shipping: the Purchaser bears all risk of loss or damage to the returned Phaedrus Audio products until delivery at the Phaedrus Audio’s designated facility.
Returns not covered by European legislation on Distance Selling may be subject to a restocking charge to cover courier charges for handling and import duty at Phaedrus Audio discretion.
Phaedrus Audio’s Limited Warranty
This limited warranty is valid only if the product was purchased from Phaedrus Audio or from a Phaedrus Audio
authorized dealer in the country of purchase. Phædrus Audio warrants that the equipment it manufactures shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase; unless a longer minimum warranty period is mandated by applicable local laws. If equipment fails due to such defects within this period, Phædrus Audio will, at its option, repair or provide a replacement for the defective part or product.
Valves (vacuum tubes) are excluded from the one-year warranty, but are warranted for 90 days from day of purchase.
This warranty does not extend to any Phædrus Audio product that has been damaged or rendered defective as a result of: accident, misuse, or abuse; or by the use of parts not manufactured or supplied by Phædrus Audio; or by unauthorized modification or attempted repair to the product; or by acts of God/Nature (accident, fire, flood, etc) or any other condition that is beyond the control of Phædrus Audio.
This warranty does not cover subjective “changes in sound character" but is limited to failure to pass signal during the warranty period.
There are no user serviceable parts inside. This limited warranty is invalid if the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product.
This limited warranty is extended exclusively to the original buyer (customer of Phædrus Audio, or authorized retail dealer) and is not transferable to anyone who may subsequently purchase the product. No other person (retail dealer, etc.) shall be entitled to give any warranty promise on behalf of Phædrus Audio. Phædrus Audio makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or otherwise.
Phædrus Audio liability is limited to repair or replacement by Phædrus Audio, at its sole discretion and, in no event, will Phædrus Audio be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incremental or consequential damages resulting from any defect in the product or incorrect operation or installation of the product, including lost profits, damage to property and, to the extent permitted by law, damage for personal injury, even if Phædrus Audio has been advised of the possibilities of such damages.
For any hardware defects experienced by the customer while the product is under warranty, Phaedrus Audio will incur the shipping cost to the customer and the customer is responsible for the shipping costs to Phaedrus Audio designated after sales service office. We recommend insurance is purchased for the return shipping as Phaedrus Audio will not accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged during the return shipping.

Service after Warranty Period Expires - Lifetime Care

You must have an RMA number before you return the equipment to Phaedrus Audio's support service. Phaedrus Audio will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to equipment returned without valid paperwork and/or a valid RMA number. We recommend insurance is purchased for the return shipping as Phaedrus Audio will not accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged during the return shipping.
Remember, Phaedrus Audio reserves the right to refuse to service the equipment if product serial numbers have been removed or altered, or if the product has been damaged by abuse, accident or unauthorized modification and/or repair. Lifetime Care is extended exclusively to the original buyer (customer of Phædrus Audio, or authorised retail dealer) and is not transferable to anyone who may subsequently purchase the product. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Phædrus Audio undertakes repairs on a best effort basis and undertakes always to attempt to repair faulty equipment within the limitations imposed by the availability of identical or equivalent parts.
For all products serviced under the Lifetime Service scheme, Phaedrus Audio will incur the return shipping cost to the customer: however the customer is responsible for the shipping costs to Phaedrus Audio designated after-sales service office.
